Two years on: where mFortune, PocketWin and Cashmo players went

In Touch Games Limited was a genuine UK success story: a Midlands studio running eight brands — mFortune, Mr Spin, Dr Slot, PocketWin, Cashmo, Bonus Boss, Casino 2020 and Jammy Monkey — on games it built in-house. In September 2023 the Gambling Commission suspended licence 2091 following a compliance review. The operator subsequently surrendered it, and by November 2024 every brand had ceased trading.

The lesson in the timeline

A suspension is not a fine. When the UKGC suspends a licence, deposits stop immediately and the operator’s ability to pay out comes under administration pressure. Players with balances faced a far messier path than those at brands that closed in an orderly wind-down. The practical rule: if your casino’s licence is ever suspended, withdraw immediately and keep records.
